Table Toppers SRH take on rejuvnated Daredevils

Come Saturday night, it's a battle between audacious stroke-makers and astute arm-rollers. When you think of Sunrisers Hyderabad, the first thing that strikes your mind is their bowling. Their mantra - Choke, squeeze, strangle. Repeat.

If their defense of 132 was inspiring, their defense of 118 was jaw-dropping. They are one team that proves Twenty20 cricket is not just all about wham-bam action and beautifies the game with thrillers out of nothing. They have not even felt the absence of their main weapon Bhuvneshwar Kumar - the one who troubles batsmen with swing, cutters, yorkers, knuckles and more.

In the last three games, Sandeep Sharma, Siddharth Kaul, and Basil Thampi have collective figures of 29.1-0-156-14. An economy rate of 5.36 despite operating in the toughest of times - powerplay and the death overs - speaks volumes of the depth in the team. Add to it a shrewd learner in Rashid Khan, who corrects mistakes quickly.

Their batting though is a dart board for oppositions. They don't boast of stalwarts. They are yet to fill in for the massive void created by the non-appearance of David Warner and the Alex Hales experiment started just a match ago. Captain Kane Williamson knows holding one end tight would normally give them a 130+ total even on a tough pitch and he is a master at playing the role of an anchor.

The team sitting pretty at the top of the points table gives Manish Pandey the cushion to find a way of being consistent. Runs from Pandey would not only take some pressure off Williamson, it also gives more solidity in the middle-order and thus the bowlers will have extra few runs to work with. Shikhar Dhawan regaining the form he had before being sidelined by injury would be a great boost too. Overall, a mix of in-form batsmen and intelligent bowlers could make the Orange Army lethal.

Conditions:

Although the city of pearls received a decent amount of rain on Thursday evening, there was no rain on the eve of the game. The temperatures are expected to soar up on match day as the weather is not expected to play spoilsport.
