Sunil Gavaskar fumes at the Indian Team management for not picking Karun nair in the team in the 5th test.

this is what he had said:

" Firstly I would like to wish Vihari all the best and hope he has a long career for India. But it is totally unfair on Karun nair. what has he done wrong not to be picked in the team ahead of Vihari? There is no argument that can ever satisfy me that Vihari was 10 days before was here playing for INDIA-A. But it's your fault, its the way you agreed to a particular schedule that has meant Karun has not got an opportunity to play any of those IND-A games.

look you have got a party of 18 in which you have got a party of 18 in which 7 players are doing nothing and not have practice. at least 7 players should have been allowed to play for India-A
I KNOW THAT HE IS NOT YOUR FAVORITE PLAYER AND YOU HAVE NOT PICKED HIM.
He scored 300, he failed in a couple of innings and you brought him back. Probably, the selectors would have brought him back. Clearly, the team management would not want to get him back that's why they did not pick him today.

He got a 300 for India. how many INDIANS have got 300? Only Viru twice and nair once.

HE Further added:
"Karun has got to ask the team management what he has done wrong? Why isn't he playing?

On the other hand, Karun nair apart from his triple hundred innings managed to score only 71 runs in his 6 other appearances.
