New Hero In the City

People know him as an Englishman who has a nack of destroying the opposition with the bat at the top of the order and is widely regarded by cricketing experts as one of the modern day greats in white ball cricket and also one of the finest openers in white ball cricket. But, his entry into the ORANGE ARMY had a drastic change to his fan base. I think you got to know who this is, he is Jonny Bairstow alias, Jonny Miya.

Generally, people of Hyderabad are cricket lunatic ones and when someone draws their attention with some extraordinary performance they consider them as their hero. So, let us recap what made Jonny Bairstow a superstar in and around the City of Pearls -

what has he done?

He had amassed 445 runs in 10 innings with a whopping strike rate and an average of 169.32 and 55.35 respectively. He had 2 match winning half-centuries and a match-winning century. He had the highest score of 114. He showed his impressive skills not only with the bat but also with his glove work behind the stumps.

Waristow:

His partnership with David Warner has been a vital cog for the success of SRH as the duo scored the bulk of the scoring and have become the most successful opening pair in a single season in the history of the IPL.

Another, specialty about this duo is one is an Englishmen and the other is an Australian who put the stage on fire together especially in a year of ASHES and world cup. 

His top knock:

Jonny's innings has to be one of the finest innings in the history of IPL. Batting in 45-degree heat, the way he toiled the RCB bowlers is brutal. He hit 114 off 56 balls which included 7 maximums and 12 boundaries. The post century celebration of him with Warner will be remembered for a long time. This knock and his partnership with Warner changed the perspective of fans on Jonny.

Jonny Bairstow left for the UK to attend the world cup practice campaign and SRH will surely miss his services.
