Indian premier league wouldn’t have been successful if it did not have the foreign flavour to it. Upon all the flavours the Caribbean flavour. Sunrisers Hyderabad too had a pinch of it with the likes of Darren Sammy, Jason Holder and Carlos Brathwaite. This time around they found a similar Caribbean allrounder in the 25-year-old Fabian Allen. ·        Allen's talent was first spotted during the 2018 Global T20 Canada tournament, where he was part of the West Indies B team that reached the final. He had the highest batting average (42.25) and strike rate (181.72) for his team, and the second best economy rate (6.56).

·        In 2016 he had a car accident which almost took his arm. Doctors thought he may not excel further in his cricketing journey.

·         He proved them wrong by consistently scoring in domestic tournaments with an impeccable strike rate of 150+.






·        In the last few games of the 2016-17 Regional Four Day Competition, he scored   50s in three consecutive matches.

·        In November 2017, he scored his maiden century in first-class cricket, making 169 not out for Jamaica against Trinidad and Tobago in the 2017–18 Regional Four Day Competition

·        He was picked up in the 13th round of the 2017 CPL Draft by the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

·        He has a T20 strike rate of 165.70, the reason why he was fast-tracked into the WI ODI and T20 team.

·        He scored a quick-fire half-century against Sri Lanka in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.


Apart from these Allen is a fielder who always wants the ball to come to him. He has a habit of pulling off some blinders in the deep and hitting the long ball. This Acrobatic and muscular skills of Allen make him a game changer and a perfect Match winner.
